Demo Clinic is a demonstration website, not a real clinic. This policy is included to show how a real clinic's cookie policy would read, and it describes the cookie behaviour of this demonstration site accurately.

What cookies are

Cookies and similar technologies (including local storage) are small files placed on your device by a website. Some are needed for a site to work. Others are used to measure how a site is used or to support advertising.

Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and the UK GDPR, we may only set non-essential cookies with your consent. Nothing in the analytics or marketing categories is set on this website until you agree to it, and no boxes are pre-ticked.

The categories we use

Strictly necessary (always on)

Needed for the website to function and to remember the cookie choice you have made. These do not require consent and cannot be switched off. This includes a record of your cookie preferences stored in your browser for up to 12 months.

Functional (off unless you ask for it)

Covers extra features you choose to use, such as the on-site booking assistant you can chat or talk to. The assistant, provided by ElevenLabs, is not loaded at all unless you choose to open it — the button you see on the page is ours and connects to nothing. Opening the assistant is the explicit request that starts the connection to ElevenLabs, whether or not you have consented to functional cookies. If you never open it, nothing is loaded and no connection is made.

Analytics (off unless you agree)

Used to understand how many people visit, which pages are useful and where the site could be improved. This information is only ever used in aggregate to improve the website. If you do not consent, no analytics cookies are set and no analytics scripts are loaded.

Marketing (off unless you agree)

Used to measure the performance of advertising and, where relevant, to show you relevant adverts on other websites. If you do not consent, no marketing cookies or advertising tags are loaded.

Third-party content

Some pages include content from other providers, such as an embedded map, an embedded booking calendar, or social media links. Where a provider would set cookies, that content is only loaded in line with the consent choices you have made. Those providers have their own privacy notices covering any data they receive.

You can change your choice at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of every page, or here:
